Involvement
Other than studying audio in my university years, I am also experienced in doing live sound for my church. I got planted in IFGF Seattle located on Northgate Seattle approximately in 2008 and had been involved with the church starting from joining the worship team up to 2010. Early 2010 I realized that the audio team lacked a number of people and I decided to help them. So I started doing live mixing from once a month since until I was appointed to be the second engineer for the Audio ministry. We used to have the Yamaha O1V 96 Digital Mixer to mix and record our weekly sermon. This particular console can be controlled from both the console and computer itself. It features 32 audio channel with it's own individual plugins such as Equalizer, compressor, gate, etc. I use this console to record the performances of the band while live mixing for the audience so its a 2 job at once and its been very friendly so far. On mid 2013 however, we upgraded our gear and used a new digital mixing console. We bought the Behringer X32 and use it as our main console. It features 40-Input, 25-Bus Digital Mixing Console with 32 Programmable MIDAS Preamps, 25 Motorized Faders, Channel LCD's, 32-Channel Audio Interface and iPad/iPhone* Remote Control and have been monitoring live performances using this console ever since.
